1. Application and suitable scope

JFS-56 Serial hammer mill is mainly used in crushing materials in fermentation and feedstuff industries as well as suitable for crushing various rough and fine materials in the starch factories, urban and rural pig farm, chicken farm and feed specialized households such as dried potato, maize, bean cake, sorghum, soybean, conch and stem. It is a ideal crushing equipment used in the fermentation, feedstuff, starch, foodstuff and chemical processing industries.

3. Main structure and working principle

This machine consists of base, rotor, door, crushing chamber, feeding guide mechanism and other parts.

1,Base: adopt whole steel plate structure and bearing support for whole excavating processing, to ensure the stability and reliability of motor’s installation.

2,Rotor: adopt multi-blade permutation and combination form, improve the sieving ability fully for the crushed material, and increase the machine’s capacity. Carry out strict dynamic balance check before rotor installation.

3,Door: adopt flat panel hinged mechanism, easy to replace sieve and hammers, sealing strips on the door frame, good air-tightness, no powder leakage.

4,Crushing chamber: crushing chamber consists of box plate, gear plate and sieve.

5,Feeding guide mechanism: Let the material’s flow direction be consistent with the motor’s rotary direction.

Material is fed from the top inlet and will enter into the crushing chamber through the feeding guide mechanism. The material is struck by high speed rotating hammerer, so it is crushed by being rubbed and struck in cycles among hammers—sieve—gear plate and under cutting function of punching sieve. Meanwhile under the action of centrifugal force and air flow, the material of qualified granularity will pass through the sieve pore and discharge from the outlet under the base. Customer can adapt multiple auxiliary equipments to finish the work such as material collection, conveying and warehouse entry based on the specific process.

4. Hoisting installation and adjustment

There are four circular holes at both sides of the crusher for hoisting. It can also lay 70-80mm tubes under the base for the machine’s plane movement. There is JG-type shock absorber under the base, no need for other fastening methods, however, when installing and handling, it is quite essential that the shock absorbers land simultaneously. Please refer to the drawing for its installation dimension.

Note:

The productivity in the above table is the crushing output when the crusher is with correct installation and good suction. Under the normal operation, take maize as raw material, moisture content is 12-14%, bulk density is 0.66-0.77t/m3, and sieve plate of porosity ≥30%.

The arrangement of this machine’s hammers is of positioning pin roll method. Hammers are located at the position of positioning pin roller. The weight difference of hammers should be ≤5g. After a period of use, when the hammers are worn, adjust the material’s feeding direction and change the motor’s rotary direction. If the hammers’ weight difference becomes larger after abrasion, change the complete set of hammers immediately, to ensure the running stability of the equipment. Furthermore, if there is problem with the granularity of the crushed material, check the sieve, weld the damaged part or replace new sieves immediately.

5. Operation

 1, Operator should be familiar with the machine’s performance and understand its structure.

  2, Before starting the machine, check each connection part carefully, no looseness is allowed.

  3, Check whether the rotor rotation is flexible; no noise of stuck, bump, friction, etc. is allowed.

  4, Only when the operator and the machine are in a safe condition can the machine be started. Feed after idling running of 2 to 3 minutes; suction system must be in normal working state before feeding.

  5, Feed quantity should be uniformed, not erratic, to ensure the motor work under a rated load.

  6, Idling running of 2 to 3 minutes after the machine finishes the work, to crush and discharge all the materials inside before stopping the machine.

  7, If there is strong vibration during the mill operation, shut down immediately to check, find out the cause, the machine can only be started after the elimination of the failure.

This machine must be equipped with corresponding power for starting and be equipped with protective device, and there should be corresponding electrical instrument. Its electrical control schematic diagram is as Figure 3.

The rotary direction of this machine is determined by the material feeding direction. The stem of feeding guide mechanism is connected with the travel switch 1XK or 2XK to control the rotary direction of motor automatically. Before opening the door, make the feeding guide plate locate in the middle part to avoid contacting with 1XK or 2XK. As per the requirement of the motor’s rotary direction, put the stem of feeding guide plate at the required side.

6. Maintenance and troubleshooting

  1. Operate strictly in accordance with the operation methods; every shift should do the necessary inspections and cleaning work.
  2. After the machine’s first working time of 4000~5000 hours, the bearings should be removed and washed once and replace the new sodium base grease at the same time.
  3. Do repair and replacement immediately when the components are damaged or badly worn. The rotor part (excluding pin roll and hammers), if it needs to be taken apart to do the replacement, dynamic balance test should be carried out after re-assembly.
  4. If the down time is long, both inside and outside of the machine should be cleaned up and remove the dustiness, to prevent corrosion and the sieve pore blocking.
  5. For long time storage, the machine should be placed in ventilated and dry place and equipped with damp-proof measures. Paint the outside appearance with anti-rust oil.
  6. If placed in the open air, there should be support at the bottom, and with rainproof measures.
